MONOTAPE is a pet project of Konstantin Bazeyev. While living in Izhevsk (Russia) and making experiments with musical instruments since early 90-s. Certainly, the artistic legacy of Izhevsk music bands, which were trying a great deal of different musical forms of independent style, has identified the vector of project development. The first tracks were created under the impression from electronic music of the 90-s. Presently MONOTAPE does not follow just one style and accents an actual contemporary sound in electronic music.
