Matteo Cetinski is an unconventional Croatian artist with his own unique path of artistic expression. The media call him the ‘renaissance man’ because of his effortless success in various creative fields. He became popular as musician in 1994 with the album 'Arrivederci Signorina'. With the same album he was nominated for 'Best New Artist' that year. Since he did not have creative control over his work at that time, he soon realizes show business is holding him back and without any regret he leaves his music career and moves to Italy to attend the Faculty of 'Mass Communications', whose Dean at the time was well-known world semiotician and novelist Umberto Eco. In 2000, he enrolled in a master's degree program at the prestigious New School University in New York where he also interns at NBC in the famous SNL studio. Returning to Croatia he teaches at two universities and with his production company develops, writes & produces several shows for national TV stations. The restless spirit of this astrological 'double pisces' pushes him to new challenges in 2012 when he starts to build a career in design where he wins the prestigious international 'A-Design' award in lake Como - Italy two years in a row (2013 & 2014). In 2018 he decides to return to music with the single 'Stopimo Boje'. Since 2018, he regularly releases songs and starts developing his own sound, thus rebuilding his audience. He is not performing for now, but he does not rule out that possibility in the future.
