Duble R is a rap and hip-hop artist on the rise in New York City. A native of Trinidad & Tobago, Duble R moved to the United States with his mother in the late 1980’s. He gained his love of music at a young age watching his father, a legendary International DJ, spinning in clubs throughout the world. Influenced by the many genres his father played, Duble R writes and performs his own music, which crosses between R&B, hip-hop, alternative rock, and pop. When writing a new song, Duble R draws on multiple genres, cultures, and emotions.
