Amzi Jackson is a professional musician, producer and music director. In 2004 he earned certifications in studio engineering, live sound engineering and music business and started his production company, Untitled Music and Media, LLC, dba Forte Music Group. As a studio engineer he has recorded industry artists and producers including Grammy producers J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League and Emmy-nominated actor, director and producer Tim Reid. In 2011, he produced the critically acclaimed Richmond rendition of “Wake Up Everybody”, a music collaboration project organized by BlackRVA. He strives to produce music that will leave a positive legacy, bring awareness to social issues and evoke change in our society. In 2011, He founded the United Music Producers which is an organization dedicated to uplifting our society through music. Through UMP, his goal is to use music as a platform, sponsoring and participating in positive music projects and events. UMP partners with non-profit, educational and community based programs and organizations in order to create or enhance their music based programs.
