GMG Headake is a Southwest Louisiana rapper from a small town called Jennings. The rapper is known for his chill but rugged rap style. The rapper served 7 and a half years total for his former prison sentence which was a huge eye opener of what parts of the world he wanted to expand his music. His biggest influences are “the hot boys” a former group of “Cashmoney Records”, “The Game” and “Ice Cube”. The rapper has origins on the West Coast where he was originally born.(Watts, California) He moved to Louisiana at a very young age but stayed in contact with his home culture.
