RamonPang is a Los Angeles-based Filipino-American DJ, producer, label head and documentarian of all things electronic music. His DJ sets are infamously versatile, unafraid to drop off-angle UKG, slamming trap/dubstep classics, cold IDM cuts, and wonky house jams whilst sharing lineups with acts like Skrillex, G Jones, salute and Ivy Lab. He currently co-heads Tabula Rasa Records releasing music from artists like Kelbin, Kinoteki, Keenan Mathias and more. Stretching introspective sounds to their ridiculous and over-the-top limits, his creative risk-taking paid off when he caught the attention of Baauer, winning his Twitch-streamed beat battles judged by artists like A-Trak and Mura Masa in 2021. In 2022, his music would go on to be supported by electronic titan Four Tet on the BBC Essential Mix of the Year, as well as in his b2b sets with Fred again.. and Skrillex. RamonPang's style of idyllic sampling melds with trap beats for a glimmering, introspective new take on the genre. His debut album "Nature System" utilized complex sample arrangements to craft terrestrial landscapes. In 2022, Ramon released his second studio album "Third Places", an autobiographical album based on music conceptualized in places between work and home. It released to critical acclaim, with features and support from Forbes, Bandcamp Daily, Dummy Mag and MP3 Mag. His third album "Life Cycle Waves" is his most dizzying and tranquil, set to release in Spring 2024.
