James Boston is an independent artist from Bakersfield, California. Since writing his first song at age 7, James has progressively gotten better with each of his releases. Releasing his first 2 projects in 2013 & 2015, James came back with his 3rd mixtape “Thanks for the Motivation” in 2018 with a notable feature from Chicago artist Rockie Fresh. In the fall of 2018 he released his 4-track EP “Work Don’t Stop” which was a project produced entirely by Doctor. In 2019, he released 2 singles promoting his upcoming r&b project. In the beginning of 2020 he released his “Thanks for the Heartbreak” mixtape, stepping outside his comfort zone experimenting with producing his own beats for the entire project. James also released multiple singles throughout 2020 as well. He released his debut album Better Memories in January 2022 with features from Rockie Fresh, NO1-NOAH, Dizzy Wright & KUR.
