Born and raised in the bustling and cosmopolitan city of São Paulo, Dj Vinnly is a producer and music researcher. Since a kid, brazilian music has always been present early in his life, whether attending to popular culture festivities such as bumba-meu-boi, folia de reis, maracatu, samba, choro and forró gigs around the city. Began his musical studies on the guitar, but it was on percussion and more recently on electronic beats that found his vocation as a DJ. After living a period in Manaus at the Amazonas diggin hard some crates looking after for local vinyl records, starts the Jambú Vibes, a party and cultural movement based on several music genres of the region such as carimbó, lambada, brega, guitarrada and música de beiradão blending with latin influences like cumbia, salsa, merengue, mambo and boogalo.
