Blending pop inspirations with an emphasis on electronic music, synth sounds and intricate compositions, Kelsey translates his influences into a cohesive sonic result. Blak Emoji’s eclectic sound is represented throughout his distinguished recorded catalog. His body of work has garnered praise from diverse artists such as Fantastic Negrito, Blk Odyssy, Justina Valentine, Low & Simon Le Bon of Duran Duran. Warren has received a variety of accolades from Rolling Stone, Tape Op, AfroPunk, Vampire Freaks, Line Of Best Fit, Wonderland and other notable publications. His music has been featured in television programs on Disney/ABC, MTV and BET. Recently he scored the acclaimed indie film Shawnie.
