Sicilian guitarist, has been a student of Carlo Ambrosio. Over the years composers such as Andrea Amici, Laurent Boutros, Francesco Santucci, Joe Schittino and Giuseppe Torrisi have dedicated original compositions to him. From 2014 Davide Sciacca toured England, Scotland and Wales as both a soloist and as part of the Ten Strings Duo. In the years 2016 and 2017 he performed in the presence of Her Majesty The Queen and other members of the Royal Family, performing, In 2018 Davide debuted in the United States performing for Culture Connection in New York City. After, He performed for the Ealing Guitar Society in London and the Liverpool Guitar Society. At the end of the year he released, as part of the Counter Irish Project. In 2019 he released a cd as part of Opus Ludere, a flute and guitar duo, then he performed at the “Cavern”, Liverpool. In 2021 he released ‘Works with Guitar’ by the American composer Victor Frost, including Concertino op.17 for Guitar and Orchestra and "LockDowning Street". His media appearances include work for Sky, Made in Liverpool Tv, Tele D, Rei TV, Globus Television, and BBC Radio Merseyside, Rai Radio 1, London One Radio, Radio Classica, Fab Radio. Davide currently attends a PhD in Music Performance on guitar works inspired by the Bellinian themes at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, under the supervision of the composer David Horne and teaches Guitar at the conservatoires and high schools in Sicily.
