CHICOS Y MENDEZ is part of the « latin alternative » style. Following the lead-singer, David Méndez Yépez, of Peruvian origin, the group finds its roots in the Latin American music scene whilst also creating its own musical universe and journey. Chicos y Mendez offers a musical repertoire that is open to contemporary influences, accompanied by texts written in Spanish and French, reflecting the double nationality of David. His will is, through his songs, to meet the poetry of the other, his sorrows, his joys and his doubts; to rehumanize what we sometimes dehumanize.
