Echoing Dream is a dreamy reggae dub project from the creativity of The Ries Brother’s guitarist/ vocalist Kevin Jordan Ries. Combining reggae, ambient dub, Orchestral textures, And electronic music, Echoing Dream creates a dreaming soundscape with reverberated vocals and melodic guitars. Inspiration comes from Roots Reggae artists like Don Carlos, Freddie Mcgregor, and Cornell Campbell, but also influenced by modern bands like Stick Figure, Rebelution, and Slightly Stoopid. Reggae, however, isnt the only genre that inspires this project. Kevin takes pieces of the ambient world of Adam young and Owl City, adding a dreamy melodic flare to the music. Also inspired by the guitarist Buckethead, lots of rock guitars and melodic solos are a part of the music as well. Everything released by Echoing Dream is self produced and recorded by Kevin at his home studio entitled “Backyard Ocean Studio”.
