Sipho Nkwane, also well known as Mac lopez was born at Legonyane (Brits, North west) 1990-05-22. He is a music producer and DJ. He ventured into House Music as a DJ in 2006. The highlight of his career, so far, came when he started doing his own music in 2010 and hosting his own events in 2015. This gave him the much needed exposure. He established and hosts the prestigious annual festival Cooler Box Thing whereby he ploughs back into the community by creating awareness of his contributions. Mac lopez played in the country ' s big concerts alongside DJ Black Coffee, DBN Gogo,Dj Shimza,Black Motion, Maphorisa,Kabza da Small,Focalistic,Makhadzi and many more He has worked on The Latest EP Project of MacG(Podcastand chill). He produced a Song called Ngiyazfela Ngawe in the EP featuring Robot Boii,Sizwe Alakine,Sino Msolo,TBO He Also worked on the Latest Vthseason Project YithiSonke. 2020 He got a Dj Slot on Radio Motsweding on LTK' s Afternoon Driveshow. 2023 He got shortlisted for Remy Martin Producers Season 2 (Mentors being the Major League DJs) and he became the Remy Martin Producers finalist 2023. Mac Lopez was a guest on the biggest podcast in Africa, ‘Podcast and Chill’. He later released a single titled ‘Hwiralang’ with the podcast’s host MacG. ‘Hwiralang’ gained its popularity on tiktok and has become one of Mac Lopez’ most played song on spotify.
