Winterkind 2.0 In July 2019 Winterkind ‘Mirko’ became Winterkind ‘Mirko and Chris’ when his long time colleague/friend Chris was joined the project and Winterkind really started to make waves. Chris produced a remix of ‘Let It Go feat. Michael Lane’ for their recent EP which received 2.7 million streams and the pair have stated “we discovered that we are similar both musically and in human sense, yet completely different in a way. After acknowledging how more songs would’ve never seen the light of day without Chris, we knew Winterkind will from now be the two of us.” “Since Mirko and I share a similar understanding of music, but clearly differentiate in the nuances, we somehow came to a synergy effect from which our sound and output benefits enormously.
