Siddharth Sharma, mostly known as Dub Sharma, is a music producer and composer who has crafted songs for films, television, and radio since 2008. His work fuses underground influences with more mainstream approaches. He began with making jingles for a community radio station in 2008 while also scoring theater productions. One of his tracks was featured on BBC Asian Network’s Friction Show in 2010, selected by UK’s popular radio presenter Bobby Friction. Titled "Raaz" and featuring Jeetu Ramachandran, it was named track of the week and month, then included on the year-end best of compilation. The song also aired on The Tom Robinson Show, leading to Sharma becoming a BBC Introducing Artist of 2010. He secured his first major production role on the 2012 film Gangs of Wasseypur and then the MTV series Sound Trippin’, which profiled folk music, travel and found sounds. Later, he worked on MTV Sound Trippin’ 2, Fox SoundTrek, and Dewarists. Sharma also worked with directors and composers to produce songs for Bollywood films. Sharma released albums including "Vyuh" and "The Rising EP," followed by independently released Cues EP and Super EP. His big break came with the 2019 release of Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy, for which he made "Apna Time Aayega" and "Azadi", tracks that featured DIVINE. Sharma also wrote, composed, and performed the song "Jingostan" for the film. In 2021, he produced "Todun Taak" featuring D'Evil for Farhan Akhtar and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Toofaan.
