Jiménez Martínez studied organ at the Conservatory of Granada with J. M. Pedrero, completing the Higher Level organ degree in the Higher Music Conservatory in Valencia with Professor C. H. Paterson. Receive complementary training in various masterclasses with internationally recognized professors. He has given recitals, both as a soloist and as accompanist or as part of orchestral ensembles, in a lot of programmes and international festivals. He has inaugurated the organ of the Cathedral of Malabo (Equatorial Guinea) . He has directed and coordinated the two International Sacred Music Programmes in Guadix (in cooperation with the University of Granada and the Diocese of Guadix), alongside important international sacred music festivals. He has coordinated the International Organ Series at the Cathedral of Leon. He oversaw the restoration of the historic organ (1785) in the parish of Aldeire (Granada) with a 5-year series of fundraising concerts. He has been a teacher of keyboard instruments and music appreciation in the SCAEM Centre of Musical Studies (Granada). He has been Principal organist at the Cathedral of Leon (2020-2023).
