Osiris has a powerful voice and is unafraid to speak his mind. Growing up he moved all around New York City, spending nights between his single-mother’s apartment and his Jamaican grandmother’s house in Queens. He fell in love with music listening to his iPod nano on long train rides home. After high school he earned a scholarship to college in Rhode Island but decided to pursue his passion instead of a traditional path. Osiris grew up on J. Cole and draws inspiration from the likes of Saba, Joey Bada$$ and Westside Boogie, but it was Lupe Fiasco’s Kick, Push that motivated him to write his first verse at 8 years old. Osiris opened for Lupe in February 2024, kicking off a career that has been years in the making. His first project “Long Way Home” drops on August 9th.
