SB-SIX is the name under which I, Stefan Bookholt, produce my tracks, do occasional live performances and other musical experiments. I was born in 1978 in Woerden, The Netherlands. That's were I went back to live again. Musically, it all started when I heard electronic music for the first time on the radio in the early nineties. From then on, I was deeply fascinated by electronic music, and still am. It was the sound of other worlds, the sound of the future. I just had to know how it was made! In those years there was no internet and no youtube vids to learn from, so I had to find out myself. I've always been interested in deep and dark sounds, which is like a thread through my entire music career.
