With its birth in the Summer of 2021, Basement Gang is a quickly rising artist collective consisting of rappers JuneThaKid, $aiku & Righteous Emcee accompanied by singer/songwriter Craishon and producer/engineer Quasi Uno. Based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota, the collective has managed to garner quite the buzz in the Twin Cities as each of its members has been building momentum off the backs of their solo works, culminating in the release of their debut joint mixtape, The Basement Tape, in December of 2022. Following an overwhelmingly positive reception, Basement Gang continued the momentum into 2023 - with members JuneThaKid, $aiku, and Righteous Emcee appearing on Minneapolis producer, Ace P’s album, Things I Can’t Speak About, as well as performing at Juice Lord’s sold out 8th Inning release show; eventually coming to a head with their debut headlining show PRESSURE MADE being the finale of a year filled with individual releases. With the collective’s continued success, the future is bright for the Twin Cities’ music powerhouse.
