Adalu is self-taught In music production and has been performing for years in a live format. As a DJ, his research focuses on black culture, meaning it has no boundaries and goes all the way down to his ancestrality. As a producer, his work is focused on electronic sounds, exploring the connection between digital and organic timbres. In addition, he is co-founder of the projects Aurora and PSICO.TRóPICA, based in Santos and São Paulo, and also he is one of the names behind the Primeiros Negros project, an ancestral file of pioneering actions that leverage the voice and self-image of black people. "Adalu" means "mixture" in Yorùbá, and that's the main purpose behind his music.
