Born and raised in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Donnsubi has emerged as one of the most promising multi-talented artist/producer/performer to come out of East Africa. He has received recognitions for his productions and made it into the Kiss My WAM Compilation CD&DVD Album in 2010 after producing 3 mixtape albums under Youth Inna Di Booth Mixtapes, a collaboration project with various artists from Western Australia between 2009-2012. Donnsubi completed recording his debut album ‘Sick Of Waiting LP’ and released on December 20th 2015. The album has been streamed and downloaded over 10,000 times through iTunes, Spotify amongst receiving a huge recognition in online radio plays gaining fans across different platforms through social media. In 2017, Donnsubi’s ‘WindFall’ is a much anticipated album from the music producer turned artist. It explorers new creative realms that are both rooted in his native tradition chants delivered against a new wave of 21st century dance rhythms arranged with elements of classical music compositions. In March 2019, DONNSUBI released 'Phenomenon' a brand new album which is expected to do better than previous releases.
