Sai Galaxy is a producer fusing the sounds of synth music and disco flavours, backed by a band of live musicians. The band draws inspiration from '70s disco, Afro disco & West African funk. Sai Galaxy collaborates with some of the best names in West African Funk and Disco, including Steve Monite (Nigeria), Funky ROB (Ghana), Alfred Bannerman (Osibisa), Oby Onyioha (Nigeria), Steve Black (Nigeria) & Olugbade Okunade, trumpet player & vocalist from Seun Kuti’s Egypt 80. Sai Galaxy utilises analogue production techniques with live recordings, and no bland over-used computer sequencing. His other projects include Digital Afrika & Papua New Guinea band Sorong Samarai.
