Nickie Conley is a multi-genre recording artist and a native of Nashville, TN. She is an AfterTouch Music recording artist and has been working in the music industry for over 30 years. She’s an advocate for equality including, women’s rights, animal rights, LGBTQIA+, and BIPOC issues. Nickie is also a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community. Born into a musical family, she began singing at the age of two and began singing in-studio sessions at 15. Some of her early musical influences were Gladys Knight, The Clark Sisters, Al Jarreau, Patti Austin, Shirley Horn, and Barbra Streisand. Her early exposure to a variety of musical styles can be felt in her versatile sound. Nickie toured for four years as a background vocalist for the legendary Donna Summer. She has also contributed live background vocals for Natalie Cole, Patti LaBelle, Kyshona Armstrong, Jake Wesley Rogers, Lucie Silvas, Tommy Sims, and many others. Between creating her own music and performing with others, Nickie has a passion for self-improvement, mindfulness, and continued learning. Nickie has also worked in film and TV, with her work being heard on soundtracks for Greenleaf, Nashville, The Sound Of Us, Hap & Leonard, Bugs and Slugs, Veggie Tales, Evan Almighty, and War Room.
