Okoye Chekwube David (born July 7, 1998), popularly known by his stage name Kvng Dav (Pronounced as “King Dave”), is a Nigerian rapper, singer and songwriter. He was born in Onitsha, Anambra state located in the southeastern region of Nigeria. He later moved to Abuja after his mother’s death to live with his aunt where he started his journey towards music and professionally launching his career later in 2020 with the release of his single “ No Bad Vibes” which was also the title of his six track EP that was released same year. Kvng Dav’s Bold, Commanding and Energetic flow and style makes him stand out, His lyrics switches between English and Local Slangs to narrate his struggles, successes and everyday experiences as a young Nigerian. He draws inspiration from the likes of J hus, Skepta, Pa Salieu, Burna Boy, Meekz, NSG and Koffi Stone.
