Gunder (born Philip Gunder) is a singer/songwriter from Augusta, GA. Growing up in the South, he had various musical influences that have shaped his artistic vision, ranging from soul, pop, hip hop, and R&B. Starting in music as an aspiring producer, he experimented with writing and singing over his beats, which he saw as an outlet to express his feelings and life experiences. Finding his love in singing and songwriting, his musical journey led him to spend much time in Latin America, where he drew inspiration from the different cultures and surroundings. His unique interpretation of his past inspirations, mixed with his recent experiences, have fused a modern pop sound that homages his love for Latin culture, while delivering a unique sound that story tells his life through music.
