Thank you for taking the time to listen to my music. I'm a Canadian born flutist and composer now living in Blaine, Washington. I hope you enjoy my diverse music portfolio which reflects my interest in different cultures and genres of music. Nature fuels my creativity. I love to carry my flutes on walks with my dog here in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, the birds, frogs and other living creatures join in the musical chorus! I have a vigorous background in neoclassical and new age music. I taught myself to play the flute at age 13 and later studied classical music. I took my music to the skies in my career as a flight attendant and entertained passengers both in flight and in airports. I had the pleasure of playing for many special guests onboard my flights, one of them being Jackie Jackson. I was known as WestJet's 'flute attendant' and was affectionately named, WindShere. I retired after 13 1/2 years and am now enjoying composing music with artists around the world. I'm a self taught player of different wind instruments including Dizi, Xiao, Hulusi, Quena, Irish Whistle & flute, Native American flute, Shakuhachi and Bansuri flutes. Over the years, I've received awards in performance in a number of music competitions. Es Vedra - Flute Version won best piano with instrumentation in 2022 with One World Music Radio. I'm grateful to radio stations, particularly Pandora, SiriusXM and OWMR who air my music regularly. Thanks again for listening to my music. Shere
