Andreas Juhl also known as DOZU is a Copenhagen based danish beatmaker, striving for the 90's vinyl authenticity, combined with modern and alternative elements. Growing up Juhl's passion for music blossomed from a young age as he found himself rapping along to his favorite tunes. Juhl started in a rhythmic music school and was later introduced to snare drumming in a local drum corps. In 2011 Juhl once again discovered a deep love for hip hop alongside his childhood friend Leveki. In 2014, Juhl began recording rap under the name Drok. Local recognition led him to collaboration with producer Pierre Dupuis, Charlie Charles, and the talented artists of KomplX Records. In the following years Juhl performed numerous of live shows and got radio plays on the danish national radio's DR P3 and P6 Beat. In 2019 Juhl released his first self-produced Drok single to showcase his own production skills. In 2021 Juhl was taking a break from the Drok project, but found renewed inspiration when he was reconnecting with Leveki and witnessed his friend's journey in the electronic music scene. Fuelled by nostalgia, Juhl returned to music in 2023 as DOZU, focusing on production and sampling. Until now DOZU has released singles with labels around the globe such as Hi.Mood, Brunch Collect, Patiotic Records, Vinyl Digital etc.
