Hip Hop Connection The follow up Time:Gentlemen was reviewed in Uncut, referencing its 'shimmering Walkers whirlpools', and noting that Kane brought 'the voice of Al Green to the mindset of Nick Cave'. Again, Dagbladet exalted it: 'a classic.' A thirteen year retirement was broken by Flowers and Ledges in 2016. It found praise in Mojo, which made reference to Kane's 'aching tender tones' and 'ability to find romance in the dirt'.
