Jessie Garrett aka Benngiie was born in Ridgeland, South Carolina and move to Flint, Michigan at the age of 15. He started producing music at the age of 17 on a Playstation game called The MTV Music Generator. As things started to take off labels wanted to work with him so he took meetings with Sony Records,Jive Records,Murder Inc, BME and CTE. As a producer he’s work with Akon, Red Cafe, Jim Jones, Pusha T, Yo Gotti, Big Krit, and Snoop Dogg. Now with his own imprint StrangeSol Music he has stepped into being an artist as well.
