"In 2003, two performances in front of 6 million TV viewers on the casting show Star Search became the deciding factor for the course of Toby’s career as a singer and crooner, as he charmed his audiences with his own interpretations of “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” and “Just The Two Of Us”. At that point Toby had already been an ambitious performer and a vocal student for 2 years and from then on continued his classically based vocal studies for a further 10 years with renowned vocal coach Bennie Gillette, a former opera singer from California, USA. Blessed with a remarkable and unmistakable voice, he has fronted a number of bands with various music styles such as funk, rock, swing and soul, galvanising his audiences with his natural charm.
