Born and raised in New Orleans with a DJ as a father, Pescado Poncho found his love for and passion for music as an adolescent. His poetical approach can be accredited to having Tupac Shakur as an early influence. Poncho's goal with every verse is to describe a day in the life using melodies and witty wordplay. Being an introvert, he views music as his source of expression. Music is his life, therefore his life is music.
