KapS is a DJ and producer hailing from Bordeaux, France, who performs in clubs, bars and festivals. As a fervent torchbearer of the Hip-Hop culture, he digests all its elements to produce heartfelt and groove-laden instrumentals and remixes. In 2015, he launches the “Midnight Jam” parties to make the crowd bounce on the best of old school and modern hip hop and R&B, also introducing DJs like Mincha., HazeLane or DJ Steady. He also founded his own independent music label Def Frenchies Recordings, releasing various projects and artists like “Road Riot Radio » (international rock), “Midnight Jam Sessions III” (K-pop/K-rap), Joe Burger (grime/UK rap) et Skott Keda (neo soul/alternative). For two years, he is a resident DJ at I.Boat, one of the hypest clubs in South France, that has hosted renowned artists such as Yuksek, Laurent Garnier or Keith Murray. Spotted by the A&R of French festival Garorock, KapS gets booked for two DJ sets at the 2017 edition and performs in front of 6,000 people. The fall 2017 will lead KapS on the European roads for his “Beats&Chill Tour”, to present his two newest releases to crowds of connaisseurs and avid urban music listeners.
