Oscar Biggs is a Boom Bap artist from MTL, Canada, who is most known for his live performances and his distinctive old school signature sound. He credits Hip Hop music for having offered him a creative outlet for the repressed anger he accumulated as a result of an absent father and suicidal thoughts mixed with substance abuse. Currently, Oscar’s focus is leading tomorrow’s generation into a mindset that appreciates lyricism and value over mainstream vanity. A lifetime fan of the genre (noting Big L and Lord Finesse as two of his top favorite acts as a teenager), Oscar first dabbed in freestyling and was positively received by the community in Longueuil, Quebec. Guillaume soon settled on Oscar Biggs for the stage moniker, having chosen to pay tribute to his late grandfather, Oscar, who fulfilled the paternal figure in the young man’s life. Biggs gained serious traction in late 2017 – early 2018 when he was chosen to open for the horrorcore phenomenon, Necro. Since, he has officially released 10 singles and 2 albums. In 2024 he teamed up with Reptile Rampant and released Mystery In The Making. The 12 tracks project conveys the essence of hiphop in it's purest form and is a true labor of love for the culture.
