Raised as DJ within Lisbon's music scene, Nery joined forces with local Turntablist/Bass collectives and Rockit constellation–with whom he featured artists like Free The Robots, Lapalux, Shlohmo, Lefto. He has been known for his surrealistic performances with Jazz musicians and at some renowned clubs and venues - Mojo Club, Café Leopold, RBMA Boiler Room Lisboa, Krzysztofory Klub, Lux Frágil, Rock in Rio Lisboa, Lisboa Electronica - but always evolved as a singular Auteur. RBMA Lx Taster showcase participation was decisive for him to step up his work as a music producer. Mastered by the distinguished Pete Norman, released by Madluv/Kudos, his debut "33" blends electronic and acoustic textures, in a collection of 12 spellbinding tracks; After "33" being supported & highlighted by Lefto, Jay Scarlett, Alex Barck, Jon More and Chris Read, Nery celebrated 1 year of "33" by inviting Nvie Motho, Fulgeance, Dnte and DJ Ride, and releasing a remix EP. 2018 got him a new challenge: “Beat by Beat Radio Show”, is his weekly radio show, broadcasted by Rádio Oxigénio, counting for ex. w/ Joe Armon- Jones, Farhot, Suff Daddy, Iman Houssein & Dominic J Marshall as guests. His intricate & dreamlike latest Snake’s Head/Jealous 7’’feats the prolific Glenn Astro (Ninja Tune/Tartelet Records) & has been supported by Alex Ruder (KEXP), Dolenz (Exit Records/Potent Funk), Touching Bass (NTS), Jerry Poon (The Operatives), Ben Mono (Future Classic) and DJ MoCity (Worldwide.fm).
