Born and raised in Bergamo (Italy), Block Mameli is an artist (music producer, songwriter, dj & video-maker) of Ghanaian descent. Influenced by Reggae, Dancehall, HipLife, Rap and HipHop music Block Mameli started writing his first lyrics at a young age combining inspiration from artists like Bob Marley, UB40, King Yellowman, Lucky Dube, Samini, Vybz Kartel, Mavado, Bounty Killa,Buju Banton, Akon, 2pac,G-Unit, just to name a few. After spending years studying people’s tastes djing and organising events, and also experimenting through beatmaking, production, ghostwriting for other artists, it’s safe to say Block Mameli is developing his own way of making music.
