Indie/Jangle pop band L I P S are a four-piece from the South West. Teetering on the edge of woozy shoegaze and understated dream-pop,they balance it all out with pinpoint songwriting, moving live shows and a consistently keen eye for aesthetics. Their debut single 'Apartment', represents a progression for the band into a well-oiled and focused, reverberant machine. The instrumentation is layered meticulously, the vocals drift elegantly with 80's pop inspired melodies and the coda crushes balefully. The single reached over 100k streams and airtime on BBC Radio 6 shortly after release. Given the recent response to 'Apartment', L I P S show no signs of slowing down with strong support from BBC Introducing and a growing fanbase. The four-piece followed this up with a self-titled EP released with Chicago’s newly reformed Sunday Records in which it received endless attention from blogs, podcasts, radio shows and press across the world.
