Hailing from Appalachia, one of the most unlikely places to make it out, better yet forge a superstar, Spencer Diamond sets out to show the world that you can live out your dreams with enough hard work. Born in Somerset, Kentucky (but finishing out his teenage years in a town called Corbin), Spencer figured out college wasn't for him which left him with questions. Reflecting on his earlier years filled with singing and songwriting from an early age, he made the leap of faith to pursue music as a career. By day he would write songs and hit the studio, by night he would wait tables at an upscale restaurant to make ends meet. Spencer was influenced by childhood car rides with his mom singing along to K-Ci & JoJo, Boyz II Men, and other 90’s R&B artists which is heard in his present catalog. He also attributes his sound to modern artists like Brent Faiyaz, The Weeknd, and Kentucky legend Bryson Tiller. With a clear goal in mind of being a top dog in today’s R&B, Spencer mixes his one-of-kind southeastern Kentucky image with vulnerable songwriting derived from a fatherless life. In October 2023 he released his first full length project titled “Nice Guys Finish Last” which in his words “…was written for people who have felt neglected in life but also those who have felt loved in life. I want this project to reach people from all walks of life."
