Leandro Lehart is one of the leaders of the new samba movement that has created a way to modernize the samba language in Brazil, called Pagode 90. Lehart began playing at age 13 in São Paulo when he founded one of Brazil's main new samba bands, Grupo Art Popular. A social activist, he brought together successful artists and musicians in large social events to raise food and treat childhood cancer. A world cultural record holder recognized by the Guinness Book of Records, with the reunion of the largest percussive group in the world in 2011. The most talented musician of his generation, Lehart is also an audio engineer. He owns a studio where he records, mixes, and masters his own music. The only non-American composer to have a music production contract with Disney. He recorded with the vocal group Take 6, Billy Paul, Snap, Igreja Catedral Peregrina, Olodum, Alcione, Jair Rodrigues, and Jorge Ben. Composer of countless Brazilian hits.
