“Choom Gang” is the performance name for members of Canadian underground rap collective H.O.M.E. Records. H.O.M.E. was founded in 2009 in Niagara by chuck Nyndees and Thili, who subsequently moved to Vancouver and began to spread influence there. After returning to Niagara, chuck lost his life in a tragic incident in 2014. Since this incalculable loss, the surviving members of the crew continue to create music and recruit collaborators around the world under the umbrella of his ultimate vision. The name “Choom Gang” comes from Barack Obama’s study group in Hawaii, as we are a multicultural group of cannabis and music lovers who came together mostly during his presidency.
