Eko Centrik is UK-based producer, singer-songwriter and musician Sarah Britton. Immersed in electronic music for almost 30 years, Sarah crafts a multilayered mosaic of elements that weave the listener into an immersive tapestry of genre-bending sonics. Eko Centrik's music comes from a place of curiosity and experimentation, and, above all else, seeks to forge an emotional connection with the listener. Inhabiting a space somewhere between the club and the headphone commute, Sarah finds her voice on the boundary between the organic and the electronic; between the body and the mind; between the living expression of real instruments and voice, and the dizzying possibilities afforded by technology. Having spent many years honing her skills in the studio, Sarah has developed an impressive technical grasp of her craft. Eko Centrik's music showcases a myriad of tools and techniques - from modular synthesis to complex vocal manipulations - that twist sound into new shapes and forms. Influences range from 90’s triphop (Portihead, Morcheeba, Massive Attack) and trance (Global Underground, Sasha) to modern deep progressive and melodic house (Tim Engelhardt, Jamie Stevens) and intricate emotional electronica in the vein of Jon Hopkins and Max Cooper. Eko Centrik has releases on Another Life Music, Incepto, Spring Tube and Londam, and is currently working on an album.
