nICo is a producer and DJ based in Milan. He grew artistically in the UK where he lived for almost 9 years before moving back to Italy. In London, he was the resident DJ of a collective called Avant Garde and he was hosting a monthly radio show on blood radio while playing around in venues such as Corsica Studios, Oval Space, Pickle Factory and more. He developed his very own style through a constant exploration of a broad range of music styles, ranging from slow dub electronica, breaks, new wave, spacey disco, ambient and world sounds to left-field and techno, he always loved shifting from one genres to another without pigeonhole himself to one style. When he moved back to Milan, he made some appearances on local Radio Raheem and Mutant Radio in Tibilisi and played with some local collectives while he started working more intensively on productions. After his first release on Glasgow imprint Huntleys & Palmers, he also released on Inside Out Records, on Lyon’s Hard Fist Records, on Sinchi and Taste Records. His first solo debut EP "Unexplored Earths" is out on French record label Estuary Tapes. He's currently working on new solo projects and collaborations.
