Ludwig van is/was an indie rock band from Flensburg, Germany. The band formed in 2005 and quickly became local heroes. They quickly managed to get out beyond the local areas and started touring Germany, Denmark, Austria and Switzerland. After a couple of DIY demos, they entered the John Lennon Talent Award and won it in 2009. 2 years after they released their first studio album in 2011 called "Home is where your house is", which was recorded at Studio East at the famous Nalepastraße in Berlin. The album was recorded by Ed East from the band Chikinki. With the released followed a headline tour and several tours as support for Jennifer Rostock . Three years later in 2014 the band released their 2nd studio album "San Franfiasco" recorded also in Berlin at RadioTransmissionTour by Andy Tex Jones. The album was followed by a headline tour and support shows for Velojet, Magtens Korridorer, The Kissaway Trail, Carpark North among others. In 2015 the band played their last gig at "Dockyard Festival" in their hometown Flensburg. The Press said: ”I’m really inspired by tonights winning Band..
