MC REY 3 was born Mariano Reyes on January 9th 1988 in Los Angeles, California. REY 3 is a Hiphop artist unlike any other. His raw talent, delivery, strong presence, and legendary Freestyle capabilities, are just a few of the reasons why he was given the nickname THE VERBAL AK. He first became attracted to hiphop after seeing a group of emcee's battling at the local park in his hometown of Hawthorne, CA. He was introduced into the world of Hiphop as a Battle MC in 1999 and began participating in local rap battles. He continued to participate in Freestyle battles from the EAST COAST to the WEST COAST until 2003. In 2006 REY 3 took the stage at the 1st annual ONE NATION HIPHOP SUMMIT in Santa Monica, Ca. along side legendary artists KRS-ONE, and ACEYALONE. He made another appearance in a large venue September 26th, 2009 at THE HOME DEPOT CENTER for the CHIVAS USA vs New York REDBULLS half-time show where he was received by thousands of screaming fans with warm cheers. In 2010 he took his career on the road again, traveling to Philadelphia, PA eventually given the opportunity to rock the stage at the legendary TROCADERO. He was an active member of THE TEMPLE OF HIPHOP and still teaches the art of emceeing as a Hiphop cultural specialist. Since his time with the TOHH he has gone on to do shows in Brazil, Mexico, and Canada. His first solo EP will be released this year (2022) titled; "THE 3RD CHAPTER" which will be available on all major music streaming platfroms. Stay tuned!
