Kingston born and raised in a musical home, it was no question that Rozegold aka RozeAu would have a God given musical talent. He would later be named a Prodigy by his peers. His love for music started with Gospel, souls, r&b, jazz, country and pop. It was later on in life where he discovered his love for dancehall and reggae music as those genres were forbidden to be played in the household. The streets of Kingston gave him his knowledge of that profound part of his culture, giving birth to who we now know as RozeAu (wich still means rozegold as the Au is a symbol for gold). He would then go on to joining his school and church choir and participate in music profusely as one of his main loves in life. Being challenged by his lifelong friends Dwaine and Edward, he would come to the realization of his greatness in writing hit music. His way with words would brand him as a true wordsmith.
