Biography

Yo! Peace and Beats be upon you; I produce Hip Hop beats; father humans and defend human rights. I'm Cape Verdean-African-American; and, grew up in a rustic town in Massachusetts. Traveled to Atlanta in 1991, attended Morehouse College, and graduated in 1995. My matriculation at Morehouse was also the beginning of my connection to Hip Hop: amid the MorehouseMystique, strong culture and good folks. I've loved music all my life. Presently, find me floating around Boston, MA; thinking beats; contemplating on God; coppin' flowers. I'm preparing, and anticipate, a return to The South. I produce with vintage Macs, circa 2003-2008. 💻🖥. Although I work from a small space, I design big sounds. Don't let my youthful face deceive you 🤫😅- I'm as old as Hip Hop, to the year 🗓⌛🎶🔊 I started as a DJ, in the days of CDs; worked with an independent radio show that broadcasted music from MIT in Cambridge, MA, late 90's; and worked with many independent artists through the years. Since the rise of the home-studio, now, I can get loose. My music journey been beautifully challenging, self-driven, meditative, at times, isolated. Now from the mind of a college grad-stoner, Gen X'er who still believes in saving trees! Like many of the hip hop denizen before me, I don a mask for symbolic reasons - also a real fan of Star Wars and horror films; masks seem to be popular in those genres. But I digress... God Bless 🙏🏽 Peace.
