NYC LAW$ is a Hip Hop collective from Brooklyn, NY (Flatbush to be exact) (with one memeber from queens) who is dedicated to pushing boundaries in music and culture. Established in 2013, Nyc Law$ has about roughly 14 lyricists Kalonji LAW$(LONJI), Mateo LAW$(Microphone Mateo), Chaad LAW$(RICO), Izz LAW$(Sonic), VarVar Suave, Skully LAW$, Verndolla$, Bonez Baybee ,Roguee,Blue LAW$, Bush LAW$, Showgenn LAW$, Star Tokii & the Late Spedi Suave who is with each member in spirit every day.Also some members not mentioned helping with the fashion part of LAW$ pushing & creating merchandise.The acronym LAWS, stands for Love Always Wins, which is a saying that the group often goes by. Over a span of years NYC LAW$ has been making a name for themselves in the New York Underground Rap Scene with a great presence on stages during performances. In August 2015 three OG members of the group Kalonji, Chaad & Showgen dropped the groups first project titled “LAW$ OF LIFE”. The group often raps about everyday situations track after track the NYC LAW$ produce dope flows over hard beats. On November 30th, 2016 the group announced that Spedi Suave had passed, after a great performance of his song ‘'Hawaii". Spedi brought out the joy in all of us & his energy was truly unmatched. Now we do everything for Spedi !
