Dead Alchemist emerges in 2013 from the hand of Sergio G. Barragán, a veteran artist since the late 90s in the Spanish East Coast club scene. His origins from the metal and industrial bands led him to handle samples and synthesizers before becoming interested in the most refined electronics. He develops his career as a resident DJ of the Sala Dr. Slump in Castellón and runs his own store and distributor of vinyl Phonic Muzic at that time, giving great cultural thrust to this city. During this stage as dj techno would be his most usual style, mixed with dub techno, idm and any style that fit his sets. He is co-owner of Motion Related Recods, a label founded with the artist Ctrls303 in 2019.
