Born in Ottawa, Ontario, the Canadian-Eritrean singer, rapper, actress and model known as Badda has had her eyes set on her throne since the beginning of her journey. She has been unapologetic about it from the jump. After the release of her debut single ‘“Check After Check” in 2017, she started cashing wins after wins. Some artists even went on to credit Badda for providing them with the inspiration and confidence they needed. “At that moment, I found my drive”, she shared during an exclusive interview with entertainment journalist Don Ayiti, editor at SHIFTER Magazine. After taking some time for self-reflection and growth, Badda continued the pursuit of her dreams while expanding her artistic horizon.
