Biography

Claudio “Klaus” Savoldi Bellavitis, composer, orchestrator, jazz pianist, singer and book writer, has been defined “one of the most interesting artist in the Italian Jazz Scene”. In 1984 he’s been the first Italian to get a degree from the Berklee College of Music of Boston. He spent more than 7 years in the States conducting orchestras, working as a Film Music Composer for Hollywood film industries as well as for Bostonians Film Industries. Burt Bacharach, award winning composer defined him the “Italian Burt Bacharach”. He’s also been performing around USA as Jazz pianist-singer. Back in Italy in 1990 starts teaching in the Conservatorio Verdi of Milan obtaining the first Italian professorship in Film Composition. He kept touring worldwide in various Jazz festivals and exclusive venues, in 1998 in Las Vegas he recorded his first album as band leader called “Jazz For Sale” in which he played with trumpet player Walter Blanton (Frank Sinatra, Celin Dion, Elvis Presley, Jackson Brown, ecc), guitarist Gary Queen (Bing Crosby, Pavarotti) and others. In 2002 he concentrated his career as skillful pianist and singer “Crooner” a la Sinatra. As he learns the art of entertaining he created new concert “formats” also for theatres. Recently he became the first and only “musician-magician” ever in the world. In 2013 he wrote the book “IL CONTE”.
