Born and raised in Dallas, Tx (Oak cliff), Darius "D.Woo" Wooten started his music producing journey early. Starting in middle school, he learned his way around the Dallas music scene under his two older brothers "Big Woo" and "Lil Woo" who formed the local music label "DSS Productions". This brand is responsible for producing as well as recording many rising artist between the 2005-2012 hot run in the city including Dorrough, Yung Nation, KBZO, Trai'd, Ronny MF, and many more. In 2015, D.Woo met DMV artist Chaz French through a mutual friend during a beat session which eventually led to 3 records on Chaz's "These Things Take Time" project, in which he made the album titled song. By 2017, D.Woo started to get his production known on a national level which led to linking with NBA Superstar Damian Lillard to do records in Los Angeles for his sophmore album "Confimed". While studio hopping in LA and still keeping connections with his Texas and DMV support, D.Woo decided to take control of his producing career and created his own album to release. Debuting early 2019, D.Woo is dropping his first official producer album "No Surprises" that features many well known artist and creatives that he has connected with so far in the music game. This is only the beginning for this trailblazing producer.
